Penn State Hoops Announces Jersey Numbers For 2026-27 Season

Penn State men’s basketball announced the jersey numbers for 11 out of the 13 rostered players on Tuesday afternoon.

Central Connecticut State transfer Jay Rodgers will don No. 1, last worn by Mason Blackwood a season ago and Ace Baldwin Jr. the two years before that. Ivan Jurić, the team’s top returning player, will continue to wear No. 3.

Walk-on freshman Grant Spacciapolli will wear No. 5, which was worn by Freddie Dilione V last season. Fellow freshman Andy Gemao will take Dominick Stewart’s old No. 7, while Serbia native Aleksandar Zečević will take Josh Reed’s No. 10.

Holdover redshirt freshmen Reggie Grodin will keep his No. 12, while walk-on Chris Lotito will keep his No. 30. Division II transfer Thomas Allard will don No. 14, last worn by Yanic Konan Niederrhauser in 2024-25, while Miami (OH) transfer Brant Byers will take Saša Ciani’s old No. 22.

Buffalo transfer Tim Oboh will be the first Nittany Lion to wear No. 33 since Andy Christos in 2023-24, while Robert Blums rounds out the roster by being the first to wear No. 45 since Clik McSweeney in 2005-06.

Two notable absences from the roster right now are international transfers Roko Prkačin and François Wibaut, whose eligibility is in question due to growing momentum for age-based eligibility reform in the NCAA.

With the two being 23 and 21 years old, respectively, it seems Penn State hasn’t yet received assurance that they’ll be able to play in 2026-27.
