Former Penn State Football Linebacker Jason Cabinda Named To Lead CW ACC Broadcast Crew

Former Penn State football linebacker Jason Cabinda has joined the lead ACC broadcast crew as a booth analyst for The CW’s college football coverage for the 2026-27 season, the network announced Wednesday.

“Couldn’t be more excited to be joining the ACC crew over at @TheCW_Sports,” Cabinda wrote in a tweet. “Huge opportunity in a great conference with a bunch of exciting teams! Football season can’t come fast enough!!!!”

Cabinda made the move to media following a six-year NFL career between the Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions. He served as a football analyst for NFL Network before being hired full-time as a rotational host for Good Morning Football on ESPN. He has also analyzed Penn State football alongside Nittany Lion legend Christian Hackenberg for Playfly Sports since 2024.

Cabinda ended his Penn State career as the program’s No. 9 all-time leading tackler with 286 drops. He played in 56 games over six seasons in the NFL, switching positions to fullback and tight end in the process. He posted seven receptions for 29 yards and one touchdown in his career.
