Former Penn State Defensive Lineman Coziah Izzard Signs With Cardinals

Former Penn State football defensive lineman Coziah Izzard has signed with the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced on Monday.
The move comes after Cardinals rookie Kaleb Proctor was moved to the IR during training camp.
Proctor was drafted in the fourth round in the 2026 NFL Draft out of Southeastern Louisiana, and after a career that saw him earn first-team All-Southland honors, first-team FCS All-American honors, and be named the Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
Izzard is in his second year in the NFL after joining the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2025. During roster cuts in late August of that year, however, he was released and spent the season on the New Orleans Saints practice squad.
While in Happy Valley, Izzard appeared in 51 career games, making seven starts. He recorded 78 tackles (40 solo), 17.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks and two forced fumbles.
