Defender Olivia Braunshausen Commits To Penn State Women’s Hockey

Penn State women’s ice hockey has added high school class of 2028 defenseman Olivia Braunshausen, out of Stillwater, Minnesota, according to the rising junior’s Instagram.

The Hill-Murray School attendee is fresh off a sophomore campaign that set career highs all around the stat sheet with four goals, 21 assists, and 25 total points through 30 games.

Braunshausen will be entering her fourth season on the women’s varsity team, which has been ranked No. 1 in the state through its past three campaigns according to MaxPreps.

The reigning AHA Champion Nittany Lions will be adding another invitee from USA Hockey’s 46-player roster for its U18 Women’s National Festival in August, with Braunshausen, who will practice among her future Penn State teammates, Aubryn Monter and Sydney Stoughton.
