Two Penn State Women’s Volleyball Standouts Named To Preseason All-Big Ten Team

Penn State women’s volleyball standouts Kennedy Martin and Alexis Stucky were named to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team on Thursday.
Martin earned the preseason honor for the second consecutive season, while Stucky received the recognition ahead of her first year with the Nittany Lions after transferring from Florida.
The pair were among just 18 players selected across the conference, with Penn State one of the nine programs to have multiple representatives.
Martin enters the 2026 season following a record-breaking junior campaign. She earned first-team All-America and first-team All-Big Ten honors after setting Penn State’s 25-point rally scoring era single-season records for kills (634), kills per set (5.42), points (728), and points per set (6.22).
Stucky arrives in Happy Valley for her final collegiate season after four years at Florida, where she earned All-America honors once, was named all-region twice, and received two All-SEC selections. She brings 3,047 career assists, 80 service aces, and 626 digs to Penn State.
The Nittany Lions open their 2026 season against SMU in the semifinals of Spikes Under the Lights on Thursday, August 27, at AT&T Stadium before hosting UConn in their home opener on Saturday, August 29, at Rec Hall.
