Former Penn State Hoops guard Jalen Pickett is headed to Los Angeles after signing a two-way contract with the Clippers, according to multiple reports.

Pickett, 26, spent the past three seasons with the Denver Nuggets after being selected No. 32 overall in the 2023 NBA Draft. After seeing limited action as a rookie, he carved out a larger role over the past two seasons.

During the 2025-26 campaign, Pickett appeared in 50 games, including 18 starts, and averaged 5.2 points, 2.3 assists, and 2.3 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game.

The Nittany Lion has also developed into a reliable three-point shooter. After shooting 38.1% from three-point range in his last college season, Pickett has connected on 38.7% of his NBA three-point attempts.

Denver declined Pickett’s $2.4 million team option for the 2026-27 season and did not extend him a qualifying offer, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Pickett is expected to fill one of the Clippers’ two-way roster spots. Under the agreement, he can earn up to $678,882 and appear in as many as 50 regular-season games before becoming a free agent in 2027.
