Lady Lions To Play Fordham & Bowling Green In Non-Conference Schedule

Penn State women’s basketball is set to host Bowling Green and Fordham as part of its non-conference schedule, the two schools announced, respectively.
The Nittany Lions will face Bowling Green on November 19 for the second-ever matchup between the two teams. Penn State won the first meeting 88-75 in 1995.
The Eagles’ assistant coach, Maggie Lucas, is the second all-time leading scorer in Penn State’s history. She played from 2010 to 2014, never crossing paths with new Nittany Lion head coach Tanisha Wright, who last played in Happy Valley in 2005.
Penn State will also play Fordham on December 20, marking the first time the two teams have played since 2019. The Nittany Lions have dominated Fordham, winning all seven games between the two sides.
The Lady Lions have yet to announce an official schedule for this season, but with the addition of two more games, folks now know four of the year’s matchups, including a trip to Arizona State on November 15 and a matchup against Baylor on November 27 in the Paradise Jam.
