Penn State men’s soccer has announced its 2026 promotional schedule ahead of its season opener against Mercyhurst on Thursday.

The schedule features seven events.

The Nittany Lions will kick off the promotional schedule with their Home Opener on Thursday, August 20, against Mercyhurst.

While Penn State has not announced what the Home Opener will mean for fans, those who go could see the team’s new head coach, Rob Dow, get his first win.

Just eight days later, on August 28, the blue and white face in-state rival Pitt in the 11v100 night.

Folks will see an intense match between two of the Keystone State’s best and get a halftime show featuring 100 local youth or club soccer players taking on the Park Avenue Army, the official student supporter group for Penn State soccer, in a fun match.

In September, Penn State will host the THON match against Yale on September 4, the Mack Brady Match against Michigan State on September 18, and the Scarf Match against UCLA on September 28.

The annual Mack Brady Match is in honor of youth goalkeeper Mack Brady, whose dream was to play for Penn State and the U.S. Men’s National Team.

Brady died unexpectedly from a blood infection on December 31, 2012, just 16 days short of his 9th birthday.

Penn State will finish the promotional schedule in October with a White Out game against Ohio State on the second day of the month and senior night against Purdue on October 28.
