Penn State Athletics Launch Fan Rewards & Experiences Ahead Of 2026 Football Season

Penn State Athletics launched its new Fan Rewards and Fan Experiences platforms on Monday in conjunction with Playfly Sports and Uptop, coinciding with the start of the 2026-27 academic school year.

A press release sent last Thursday describes the system as “an incentives program designed to give back to the passionate fans who make Penn State one of the most dedicated fan communities in college athletics.”

Such a system has previously been used by other schools, most notably LSU.

Fans can open accounts on the Penn State Rewards site and earn points through daily check-ins, referrals, attending games, and making purchases at select Penn State-sponsored stores with a linked card.

The five brands currently enrolled in that system are Dunkin’, Utz, Jersey Mike’s, Giant, and Onvo. Fans can also purchase points, ranging from 1,500 points for $10 up to 25,000 for $100.

The rewards page seems to be in its very early stages, but offers are already available, including tickets to several home games, pre-game tailgating experiences, autographed memorabilia, and an on-field pre-game experience. The cheapest reward is currently set at 59,000 points.

The rewards program is also targeting students in the near future.

The initial announcement promised that the program would “provide an additional avenue to earn rewards that can enhance their Penn State experience, including opportunities related to student ticket access and the student ticket lottery.”

There are currently eight Fan Experiences available to bid on; folks can do so at this link. All of them can be redeemed for every home game unless noted:

  • Matt Campbell Postgame Press Conference access ($2,063)
  • Spending A Quarter With PSU Radio Voices Jack Ham and Steve Jones ($2,063)
  • Visit from the Nittany Lion at your tailgate ($698)
  • Conducting the Blue Band for one song on the field ($2,578)
  • Set up Beaver Stadium with the Grounds Crew ($1,033, only available for Purdue, Minnesota, and Rutgers)
  • Spend Pregame with the Lionettes ($1,033)
  • Locker Room Pregame Walkthrough ($5,153)
  • Prep the Locker Room With The Equipment Staff ($3,608)

Additionally, the program offers video board messages for individual games at several fall and winter sports:

  • Women’s volleyball ($106)
  • Men’s hockey ($106)
  • Women’s hockey ($34)
  • Field hockey ($34)
  • Men’s soccer ($34)
  • Women’s soccer ($34)

Future opportunities and rewards will likely be added to both programs as the year progresses.
