Eight former Penn State football players have officially made NFL rosters. Following final team roster cuts on Sunday, all eight former Nittany Lions who were drafted in April have made the cut for their respective teams.

As the NFL regular season looms near, let’s remind ourselves where each rookie stands.

Vega Ioane, Baltimore Ravens

Vega Ioane, whom Baltimore selected with the No. 14 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, made the Ravens’ 53-man roster and is widely projected to be the team’s starting right guard this season after a strong preseason showing.

Drew Allar, Pittsburgh Steelers

After flashing some playmaking abilities during the preseason, Drew Allar has officially made the Steelers 53-man roster. The former third-round pick is projected to be third on the quarterback depth chart, backing up Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph.

Dani Dennis-Sutton, Green Bay Packers

After missing some time in training camp and pre-season, Dani Dennis-Sutton has shown the Packers he has what it takes to make the roster.

The fourth-round pick looks to be a rotational edge rusher in Green Bay this season.

Zakee Wheatley, Carolina Panthers

Despite being picked in the fifth round, Zakee Wheatley has done enough in camp and preseason to carve out a role as a depth piece in the Panthers’ secondary.

Kaytron Allen, Washington Commanders

Penn State’s all-time leading rusher has made the 53-man roster. Despite fumbling in his last preseason game, Kaytron Allen showed enough potential early in camp and preseason to earn a spot on the Commanders’ roster.

The sixth-round pick is projected to see some action in Washington’s backfield committee that includes Rachaad White, Bill Croskey-Merritt, and Jeremy McNichols.

Nicholas Singleton, Tennessee Titans

Penn State’s total touchdown leader has also survived final roster cuts.

Nick Singleton impressed coaches during training camp after being picked in the fifth round. He’s projected to have a small workload in a crowded Titans backfield.

Zane Durant, Buffalo Bills

The fifth-round defensive tackle has cemented his roster spot following a nice showing in the preseason. Zane Durant is projected to be a depth piece in the Bills’ interior defensive line.

Drew Shelton, Dallas Cowboys

After facing some criticism over his preseason performance, Drew Shelton has still made the 53-man roster.

The fourth-rounder is projected to be burned in the Cowboys’ offensive line depth chart this season, allowing him time to develop.
