Penn State women’s basketball has added TCU to its nonconference schedule for Sunday, December 13, the Horned Frogs announced on Friday.

TCU offers a strong test for Tanisha Wright in her first season in charge of the Nittany Lions. The Horned Frogs were 20-0 at home during the 2025-26 season and finished with a 32-6 record. Those wins included No. 10 NC State, No. 12 Baylor, and No. 19 West Virginia.

TCU went far in both the Big 12 tournament, falling in the third round to the same West Virginia team they beat earlier in the season, and the NCAA tournament, falling to No. 4 South Carolina in the fourth round.

The Horned Frogs will be without now-WNBA star Olivia Miles, however, but have loaded up their team once again in the transfer portal.

Penn State and TCU last faced off in 2001 in the NCAA tournament, while Wright was a freshman. A 77-75 victory for the Horned Frogs marked the program’s first-ever NCAA tournament win.
