Penn State Men’s Hockey To Face Army In Prudential Center On December 10
Penn State men’s hockey will face Army in the Prudential Center as part of the inaugural Hockey Knight in Jersey.
The Nittany Lions will travel to New Jersey to take on the familiar foe on Thursday, December 10, marking the return of Division I men’s hockey to the Prudential Center for the first time since 2014.
The Prudential Center is home to the New Jersey Devils in the NHL and Seton Hall’s college basketball team.

The game is a part of a home-and-home series that concludes with a return matchup in Pegula Ice Arena on Saturday, December 12.
Though Army and Penn State did not face off during the 2025-26 season, the two are accustomed to playing in non-conference games.
Penn State beat the Black Knights 4-1 in the two sides’ last meeting in December 2024 as a part of the Capital Hockey Classic. The game, which took place in Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., was former Penn State club hockey goalie John Seifarth’s first start.
Penn State defenseman Mac Gadowsky transferred from Army ahead of last season.
