Lady Lions Add Marlo Davis In Player Development Role

Penn State women’s basketball has added Marlo Davis as an assistant coach and player development staffer, the team announced on Wednesday.

Davis’ last coaching role was as the head coach for Canada’s under-19 team. He also spent a decade as the head coach of Crestwood Preparatory College in Toronto, Ontario.

“We are ecstatic to add Marlo to our dynamic staff,” head coach Tanisha Wright said. “His ability to build such a remarkable powerhouse from scratch at Crestwood, alongside his professional experience with team Canada will be invaluable for our program.”

With Canada, Davis took charge of the Women’s National Team for the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup in 2025 and the 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup the year prior. Davis and his team won the silver medal in 2024.

Davis played college basketball at UNC Wilmington for two years and won the 2018 3×3 Canada Quest National Final with Team Ontario.
