Penn State is well represented in the NFL; that much we know.

As announced at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, 39 Nittany Lions were named to 53-man rosters around the league ahead of Wednesday’s season opener in Seattle between the Seahawks and Patriots.

But it’s not just those 39 who are continuing their professional dreams this year. 14 other players with Penn State ties populate the 16-man practice squads across the NFL, including five rookies who entered the draft this April.

Here’s where those Nittany Lions are:

Kalen King, Tre Wallace – Arizona Cardinals

Kalen King spent three seasons at Penn State from 2021-23, earning Second-Team All-American honors in 2022 and Second-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2023. He was selected No. 255 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, but didn’t make the initial 53-man roster as a rookie.

After spending 2024 on the Packers’ practice squad, King signed with the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad in 2025 and made his first NFL appearance on November 30, playing seven snaps on special teams. He was claimed off waivers by the Cardinals on December 23, 2025.

Tre Wallace spent four seasons at Penn State from 2021-24, but transferred to Ole Miss for his senior season in 2025. In his collegiate career, he had over 2,000 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns.

After going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, Wallace signed with the Cardinals, where he had five receptions for 54 yards in the preseason, earning a spot on the practice squad.

Amani Oruwariye, Adisa Isaac, Nick Dawkins, Dom DeLuca – Baltimore Ravens

The most experienced of the four Nittany Lions in Baltimore, Amani Oruwariye spent five seasons at Penn State from 2014-18, where he earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors as a redshirt senior before the Detroit Lions selected him No. 146 overall in 2019.

Over the years, Oruwariye has appeared in 62 games (starting 40) with five different teams, playing his best football with the Lions in 2021, when he posted six interceptions and 11 passes defended. He’s been with the Ravens since October 2025 and appeared in one game last season.

Adisa Isaac spent five seasons at Penn State from 2019-23, where he compiled 14.5 career sacks and 31.5 career tackles for loss, ultimately earning First-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2023 as an edge rusher. He was selected No. 93 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Ravens.

Injuries have unfortunately bedeviled Isaac’s NFL career; he’s appeared in only four games in two seasons, prompting the team to waive him before the 2026 season, but he remains in the organization with this opportunity.

Nick Dawkins spent six seasons at Penn State from 2020-25, spending the last two as the team’s starting center and vocal leader, during which he won the 2024 Wuerffel Trophy.

The son of NBA legend Darryl Dawkins and cousin of Pro Football Hall of Famer Brian Dawkins, Nick signed with Baltimore as an undrafted free agent in late April.

Dom DeLuca spent five seasons at Penn State from 2021-25, growing from a walk-on to a team leader at linebacker. He also signed with the Ravens after going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Khalil Dinkins, Kevin Givens – San Francisco 49ers

Khalil Dinkins spent five seasons at Penn State from 2021-25, where he was named a Big Ten Honorable Mention at tight end as a senior before going undrafted this April. In a confusing summer, the 49ers waived him multiple times, but he re-signed each time and eventually landed on the practice squad.

Kevin Givens spent four seasons at Penn State from 2015-18 and went undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft. Despite this, the defensive tackle has done well for himself since, appearing in 70 games for the 49ers across seven seasons.

His role has declined slightly over the years, and despite a career-high 3.5 sacks in 2025, he was waived and placed on the practice squad at the end of the preseason.

Malik McClain – New York Jets

Malik McClain spent just one season at Penn State in 2023 between stops at Florida State and Arizona State. The wide receiver only caught six passes for 71 yards and a touchdown as a Nittany Lion before bolting to Tempe after the 2023 season.

After two years at Arizona State, he went undrafted this April and latched onto the Jets’ practice squad in May. He caught three passes for 33 yards in the preseason.

Sean Clifford – Cincinnati Bengals

Sean Clifford spent six seasons at Penn State from 2017-22, becoming the Nittany Lions’ all-time leader in almost every major passing category before being selected No. 149 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Packers.

Clifford has only played in three total NFL games, with just one completion for 37 yards in his career, but he’s managed to stick around on the practice squad of his hometown team, the Bengals, since September 2025. He threw two touchdowns this preseason.

Mitchell Tinsley – Houston Texans

Mitchell Tinsley spent his final collegiate season at Penn State in 2022 after two successful seasons at Western Kentucky. The wide receiver had 51 receptions for 577 yards and five touchdowns before going undrafted in 2023.

He signed with the Washington Commanders shortly after the draft and spent two seasons in Washington, appearing in two games. He spent the entire 2025 season on the Bengals’ active roster, appearing in 17 games and starting four due to a mountain of injuries, catching eight passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns.

After being released by the Bengals following the preseason, he signed with the Texans’ practice squad.

Nolan Rucci – Indianapolis Colts

Nolan Rucci spent two seasons at Penn State from 2024-25, where he started a total of 18 games at right tackle after transferring from Wisconsin.

He went undrafted in this April’s draft before being picked up by the Indianapolis Colts, who’ve placed him on the practice squad.

Trebor Peña – Jacksonville Jaguars

Trebor Peña spent his final collegiate season at Penn State in 2025 after a successful career at Syracuse, catching 49 passes for 552 yards across 13 games for the Nittany Lions and winning Pinstripe Bowl MVP.

He went undrafted this April and signed with Jacksonville, where he scored a touchdown in the preseason before reverting to the practice squad.

Omari Evans – Kansas City Chiefs

Omari Evans spent three seasons at Penn State from 2022-24, where he was a starting receiver on a team that reached the College Football Playoff semifinal. After which, he transferred to Washington, where he spent the final year of his collegiate career.

He signed with the Chiefs after going undrafted and reverted to their practice squad after the preseason.
