Penn State women’s volleyball has called for a White Out conditions in its game against Stanford at The Palestra, the team announced Wednesday.

The program didn’t exclusively use the term “White Out,” but it does want Penn State fans to wear white as the Nittany Lions aim to keep it ball rolling against the No. 4 team in the country. The occasion clearly calls for White Out conditions — Penn State hasn’t played in The Palestra in 41 years.

“Celebrating 100 years, The Palestra has been the home to countless unforgettable moments in college athletics, and it is truly one of the most iconic arenas in the country. To be able to play in a building with that kind of tradition and history is something our student-athletes will remember for the rest of their lives,” Katie Schumacher-Cawley said when the game was announced.

Penn State is 4-1 on the young season after bouncing back with a win over DePaul on Monday. The Nittany Lions lost to No. 3 Kentucky in the Big Ten-SEC Volleyball Challenge at Wrigley Field.
