We’re two weeks into college football season, folks, and Penn State football is now 2-0.

After traveling to Lincoln Financial Field, Matt Campbell and the Nittany Lions faced a handful of former Penn State players in a 27-9 win over Temple.

Here’s a recap of how those former Nittany Lions and others performed in Week 2.

Ethan Grunkemeyer, Virginia Tech

The former Penn State quarterback completed 31 of 42 passes for 327 yards and two touchdowns in the Hokies’ 44-21 win over Old Dominion.

Grunkemeyer also rushed for one touchdown.

Jaxon Smolik, Temple

At the helm for the Owls was another former Penn State quarterback, Jaxon Smolik.

Against the Nittany Lions, Smolik completed 10 of 16 passes for 59 yards and one interception. Most of his action took place in the run game, recording 71 rushing yards across seven carries.

Beau Pribula, Virginia

Beau Pribula, fresh off an electric Week 0 performance against NC State, had an efficient day against FCS Norfolk State, going 12 for 14 with 162 passing yards, three touchdowns, and an interception.

After running for 110 yards in the opener, he had -8 rushing yards on Saturday.

Jabree Coleman, South Carolina

The former Penn State running back fared well in the Gamecocks’ 45-9 win over Towson, recording six carries for 32 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Luke Reynolds, Virginia Tech

The tight end had an impressive showing in the Hokies’ 44-21 win over Old Dominion, with eight receptions for 108 yards. Both mark career highs for Luke Reynolds.

Mylachi Williams, Virginia Tech

On the defensive side of the ball for the Hokies, Mylachi Williams totaled four tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and two forced fumbles.

Cortez Harris, Virginia Tech

Alongside his former Penn State teammate, Cortez Harris also totaled four tackles and two sacks for the Hokies.

Amare Campbell, Tennessee

Tennessee rose three spots in the AP poll after a tremendous 45-24 win over a top-25 team out of Georgia Tech.

Amare Campbell played a key role in the Vols’ win, tying the team lead in total tackles with eight.

Elliot Washington II, Clemson

The former Penn State cornerback was all over the field during Clemson’s 22-7 win over Georgia Southern, lining up for 64 defensive snaps.

Across these 64 snaps, Elliot Washington II collected three solo tackles and a pass breakup.

Zuriah Fisher, USC

The senior defensive end collected his first sack and forced fumble of the season following the Trojans’ 49-30 win over Louisiana.

In total, Zuriah Fisher recorded one tackle, one sack, and a forced fumble.

Dejuan Lane, Tennessee

Another Vol on the list, and on the defensive side of the ball alongside Campbell, was former Penn State defensive back Dejuan Lane.

Lane was the star of one of the biggest plays in the Vols’ win over Georgia Tech, recording a 41-yard interception return for a touchdown. The pick, which came early in the second quarter, broke a 10-10 tie and set Tennessee up to maintain the lead for the rest of the game.

He also had three total tackles throughout that game.

Jaylen Harvey, North Carolina

The former Penn State defensive lineman helped shut down the offense of East Tennessee State for the Tar Heels, collecting three total tackles and two sacks.

Other Notable Performances:

• Former Penn State wide receiver Aaron Enterline recorded one catch for 23 yards in Towson’s loss to South Carolina and in a matchup against former teammate Jabree Coleman.
• Over at Virginia Tech, two more former Nittany Lions made minimal in-game moves. These included Keon Wylie on defense, with one tackle and a half sack. He also had an all-time blooper. Wide receiver Tyseer Denmark had two catches for 17 yards.
• In their matchup against Penn State, Kolin Dinkins helped the Temple defense with two tackles and made headlines with a vicious out-of-bounds hit on Rocco Becht in the fourth quarter.
• Former Penn State running back Corey Smith helped play a part in Toledo’s blowout 63-10 win over Connecticut State with seven carries for 30 yards.
• Another Trojan on the list, Ta’Mere Robinson collected three tackles in USC’s 49-30 win over Louisiana.
