Lady Lions Release 2026-27 Big Ten Schedule

Penn State women’s basketball released its 2026-27 Big Ten schedule on Wednesday.
The schedule includes a trip to Los Angeles and nine games in Happy Valley for Tanisha Wright’s debut season.
Wright and the new-look Lady Lions will open their Big Ten slate with a trip to Michigan State on December 6. Penn State’s home conference debut is set for Purdue on December 29. The Lady Lions will close out their first three games on the other side of the calendar, facing Oregon on January 1.
Penn State is set to face Minnesota away on January 5 before returning to Happy Valley to take on Rutgers on January 8 and Indiana on January 12.
The Lady Lions will then take a big trip out west for back-to-back games against UCLA and USC on January 15 and 18, respectively. Penn State will wrap up its road trip against Michigan in the Crisler Center on January 27.
Wright and Co. will close out January against Ohio State before heading over to Northwestern on February 4. Maryland will visit Happy Valley on February 27 before the Lady Lions head to Rutgers for their second matchup against the Scarlet Knights on February 10.
Penn State will then play two home games against Washington and Iowa on February 13 and 18 before hitting the road for the last time. The Lady Lions are set to visit Nebraska on February 21 and Illinois on February 25.
Penn State will close its Big Ten slate on February 28 against Wisconsin in Happy Valley.
The Lady Lions went 11-18 and 4-14 in Big Ten play in 2025-26 under Carolyn Kieger.
