OS Reviews: Indian Latin Kitchen

Another new food spot opened downtown, folks.

Indian Latin Kitchen welcomed its first customers on August 26 after opening on Calder Way. The new restaurant offers various types of chicken dishes, naan, burritos, tacos, meats and seafood, vegetarian dishes, and more.

A few of our staffers made the trip to try the diverse establishment.

Holden Mostofsky: Butter Chicken & Rice

I love a good order of butter chicken, and I enjoyed Indian Latin Kitchen’s.

The chicken was very flavorful, and the whole meal was very filling. I walked in and also had great service. The staff was very welcoming and had a strong sense of community with one another.

I would definitely go again to try other foods they have to offer; their menu is huge and very diverse.

Julia Romankow: Chicken Adraki & Rice

I had the Chicken Adraki, which came with rice and the chicken on the side.

They can adjust the spiciness level to your liking, which I really liked as someone who isn’t a fan of super spicy food. On top of that, the service is excellent.

The menu describes the chicken as boneless chicken cooked in ginger and onion sauce. I opted for the least spicy flavor, but it was still pretty flavorful. The chicken also came with a generous helping of sauce, which you could add as you liked.

There was more than enough food to take home, and I ate the leftovers, which were amazing.

Ella Cofone: Chicken Tikki Masala & Rice

I had the Chicken Tikka Masala.

At first, I wasn’t even sure if it was open, but Indian Latin Kitchen has a buffet or menu option depending on how much time you have to dine. We went with the menu option, and I was between the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken.

The restaurant has so many options; the menu literally had pages to flip through, so I definitely have more to try. It was a little pricier than I expected, but the servings are big, and you can take leftovers home.

It did take us a little while to find because it’s so tucked away, but it was worth the trip.
