Penn State baseball will face Ole Miss, Wake Forest, and Dallas Baptist (DBU) in the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series, the team announced Monday. The Nittany Lions already had their place in the tournament when their schedule was released, but they know have their opponents finalized.

Penn State will first play Ole Miss on March 5 at 4 p.m. The team then plays Wake Forest on March 6 at noon, and finishes against DBU on March 7 at 7:30 p.m. All matchups will be played in Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

The Rebels were College World Series participants in 2026. Wake Forest played in the NCAA Regional in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The series is hosted by REV Entertainment, a partner of the Texas Rangers. Eighteen college baseball teams will be featured in a premier event before the official regular season starts, which also helps schools like Penn State play in warmer, more tolerable conditions.

Penn State finished last season 16-35 and 9-21 in conference play. The team failed to make the NCAA Tournament and hopes to kick off the 2027 year with a strong start in Arlington.
