Another week means another recap of Penn State alumni in the NFL.

While the Nittany Lions got off to a hot start in Week 1, things cooled off a bit for the second go-around of the year.

That said, there are still plenty of former Penn State fan favorites to talk about. Here’s how they did in Week 2.

Nick Scott, Carolina Panthers

Nick Scott made his presence known early, recovering a fumble on the very first play of the game and setting the Panthers up with great field position. Carolina would go on to score the first seven points of a dominant 34-3 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Scott only had one tackle in the game, but the Falcons didn’t put up much of a fight.

Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles

Saquon Barkley briefly left the game with a stinger but returned after being checked out.

Barkley put up just 9 rushing yards and caught one pass for 11 yards as the Eagles narrowly beat the Tennessee Titans, 24-20. His injury status for next week remains unclear.

Kevin Winston Jr., Tennessee Titans

After a rookie year in which he recorded only 34 total tackles, Kevin Winston is already more than halfway to that mark in just two weeks.

The second-year safety recorded eight tackles, including five solo, in the Titans’ close loss to the Eagles.

Winston is on track for a big year in his first season as a starter.

Dani Dennis-Sutton, Green Bay Packers

After recording just one tackle in his rookie debut, Dani Dennis-Sutton played well in Week 2.

The fourth-round draft pick made six total tackles and half of a sack to help the Green Bay Packers beat the New York Jets 20-17 in overtime.

Chris Godwin Jr., Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Chris Godwin caught all three of his targets for 46 yards as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dropped a close game against the Cleveland Browns, 19-23.

Godwin also rushed once for 12 yards.

Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars

Parker Washington has fully settled into his role as the top wide receiver on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 2023 sixth-round pick put up 98 yards on seven catches as the Jaguars fell to the Denver Broncos, 13-20.

Ji’Ayir Brown, San Francisco 49ers

Safety Ji’Ayir Brown was all over the field for the San Francisco 49ers as they beat the Miami Dolphins, 35-13.

Brown led his team with 13 total tackles, including four solo tackles and one tackle for loss.

Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts

Tyler Warren was the only Nittany Lion to find the end zone on Sunday.

The second-year tight end hauled in six catches for 21 yards and a score as the Indianapolis Colts lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime, 30-33.

Warren also rushed once for 3 yards.

Abdul Carter, New York Giants

Abdul Carter made three total tackles, including one sack as the New York Giants fell to the Los Angeles Rams, 6-28 on Monday night.

The second-year pass rusher is looking to build on an underwhelming rookie season in which he recorded just four total sacks.

Blake Gillikin, Arizona Cardinals and Jordan Stout, New York Giants

Blake Gillikin punted a whopping seven times for 289 total yards in the Arizona Cardinals’ 7-31 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Jordan Stout tried his best to keep up with Gillikin in the Giants’ loss to the Rams, and he may have succeeded. The 2022 fourth-round pick punted six times for 315 total yards, including a career-high 78-yard bomb.

Other Notable Performances:

• Jahan Dotson caught two out of four targets for 11 yards as the Falcons got crushed by the Panthers.
• Nick Singleton rushed for 10 yards on four attempts as the Titans fell to the Eagles.
• Jaquan Brisker recorded six tackles in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 3-20 loss to the New England Patriots.
• Pat Freiermuth struggled along with the rest of the Steelers offense, catching four passes for 32 yards.
• Brenton Strange caught both of his targets for 17 yards in the Jaguars’ loss to the Broncos.
• Kaytron Allen rushed five times for 24 yards as the Washington Commanders fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 20-37.
