Penn State Athletics announced on Tuesday an opportunity for students to purchase tickets to Penn State football’s clash against Northwestern on Friday, October 2, at the new Ryan Field in Evanston, Illinois.

The sale begins at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, and will close when all tickets have sold out or at 7 a.m. the following day, Thursday, September 24, whichever comes first.

Students can purchase only one ticket through their Outlook email address. Tickets are available only through mobile ticketing.

When students click the ticket purchase link, they are redirected to log in to their Ticketmaster accounts and then taken to a “Purchase Now” screen.

Neither the email nor the website describes where the seats will be located or the price per ticket. Further information will become available at the start of the sale.

For reference, away student tickets to Temple, the Nittany Lions’ lone away game to this point, were allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and prices varied based on availability.
