Penn State Football Assistant Coach Jordan Lucas Charged With DUI
Penn State football assistant coach and former player Jordan Lucas has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, according to court documents filed on Tuesday.
Lucas, listed as an assistant linebacker coach for the Nittany Lions, had a BAC more than double Pennsylvania’s legal limit at the time of the incident on August 16.
Lucas is charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and summary offenses of driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle, and parking in a crosswalk.
The former Penn State football player’s preliminary hearing is set for October 21.
Lucas was a defensive back for the Nittany Lions from 2012 to 2015. After his time in Happy Valley, Lucas had a six-year NFL career that included a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Penn State hired Lucas in 2024 during the James Franklin tenure.
Penn State did not reply to Onward State’s request for comment at the time of publication.
