Wiz Khalifa To Perform At Champs Downtown
World-renowned rapper Wiz Khalifa is set to perform at Champs Downtown, the sports bar and club announced on Instagram.
The event, taking place at 7 p.m. on October 1, is for those 21 and older.
Cameron Jibril Thomaz, Wiz Khalifa’s birth name, quickly gained a following after signing with a local independent label and releasing his debut studio album, “Show and Prove,” in 2006.
In 2010, he released a free mixtape called “Kush and Orange Juice”, which became a massive hit and led to him signing with Atlantic Records.
The Thursday night event takes place during the Pittsburgh Steelers matchup with the Cleveland Browns, which will make for a “a very special PGH DVSN,” according to Champs.
