Your Official Penn State-Wisconsin Drinking Game

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Homecoming!

After a gloomy, rainy week in Happy Valley, the sun is finally supposed to show up just in time for Penn State football’s matchup against Wisconsin. There’s no better way to celebrate than with football, friends, and a few drinks.

So, grab your drink, throw on your blue and white, and let’s get drinking.

Here’s your official Penn State-Wisconsin drinking game:

  • First off, it’s gameday! Get ready to “Jump Around” and beat Wisconsin. Take a shot!
  • A 5 p.m. kickoff? That’s a start time you don’t see every Saturday. Take a shot.
  • In honor of Homecoming, find a random alum and take a shot.
    • If they start telling you what Penn State was like “back in their day,” take another.
  • If you see a parent who is clearly more excited about Homecoming than their student, take a sip.
  • If this is your last Homecoming as a student, take a shot or two.
  • If this is your first Homecoming as a student, take a sip… of water.
  • If you made it to kickoff without drinking, congratulations. Take a shot for your patience.
  • If you hear someone call Wisconsin our “first real opponent,” take a sip. We don’t make the schedule!
  • If Matt Campbell sneaks onto the field, take a sip. We see you, Coach!
  • If the drum major sticks the flip, take a shot.
  • If you see the Homecoming court, take a shot. Royalty deserves a celebration.
  • Take a sip if you see a football letterman.
    • Bonus points if they’ll take a shot with you.
  • Take a sip every time you hear “We Are!”
  • Take a shot every time Penn State scores.
  • Penn State sacks Wisconsin? Take a sip.
  • If you miss Koby Howard, take a shot.
  • Take a sip every time Wisconsin gets a penalty. It’s a bad day to be a Badger.
  • Take a sip every time the crowd forces a timeout.
  • If the Nittany Lions secure yet another win, take a longggggg sip. 4-0!!
  • Chug your drink if the Nittany Lions lose.

Remember to drink responsibly, stay hydrated, and have a happy Homecoming, Nittany Lions!
