Penn State Wrestling Releases 2026-27 Schedule
After winning its 14th national championship and its fifth straight, Penn State wrestling is back.
The Nittany Lions announced their 2026-27 schedule on Tuesday, with the season opener set for a duel with Division III Bloomsburg Huskies in Rec Hall on Thursday, November 12.
The Nittany Lions will host three matches in the Bryce Jordan Center, as usual.

After hosting the Huskies, Penn State will travel to face Oklahoma on Sunday, November 15.
The Nittany Lions will then travel to the one-day Black Knight Invite, hosted at Army West Point in New York on Sunday, November 22, before heading to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to face Lehigh on Sunday, December 6.
One week later, Penn State will return to the Bryce Jordan Center to host West Virginia on Sunday, December 13.
Penn State will then travel back to New York on Sunday, December 20, to face Oregon State, Duke, and Binghamton in the Collegiate Duals series before returning home for a short break.
Big Ten conference play begins Saturday, January 9, with a trip to Rutgers before Penn State returns home for a two-game slate against Michigan on Friday, January 15, in the BJC and Maryland on Sunday, January 17, at Rec Hall.
The Nittany Lions will travel to East Lansing, Michigan, for a Friday night clash with the Michigan State Spartans on January 22, then return to Rec Hall on Sunday, January 24, to face the Wisconsin Badgers.
The Nittany Lions will face the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday, January 29.
Then, Iowa comes to town to face the Nittany Lions on Friday, February 5, in the BJC, followed by the Nittany Lions taking on Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday, February 12.
The Nittany Lions will close out the regular season with a non-conference matchup in Rec Hall on Friday, February 19 against Northern Colorado.
Ohio State will host the Big Ten Championships this year, scheduled for March 6 and 7.
Penn State will have its eyes on its 15th total and sixth consecutive national championship on March 18, 19, and 20 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Nittany Lion head coach Cael Sanderson enters his 17th season with a 218-16-2 record.
