No Refund Theatre Presents: ‘The Moors’

The No Refund Theatre (NRT) is back with its second show of the semester!
“The Moors” is a dark comedy by Jen Silverman, directed by NRT members Cash Cashour, Jack Edgar, and Cecelia McLellan. The first showing will take place in Forum Building 111 on October 1 at 9 p.m. and October 2 at 8 p.m.
I had the pleasure of seeing the play before its official debut, and I can safely say NRT’s adaptation of “The Moors” is not one you want to miss.

“The Moors” takes place in the 1800s, on the barren land of the English moors.
Orphaned sisters Agatha and Hudley live in their late father’s not-so-grand estate, with their obedient yet two-faced maid, and their surprisingly well-spoken dog.
The family leads a life as bleak and monotonous as the moor.
Until the arrival of an eager governess and forgetful moorhen leads the family’s lives onto an obscure and perilous path.

NRT’s “The Moors” is a hilariously dark production that will have you gasping and laughing in the same scene.

Take the time to stop by Forum Building 111 on either show date to support the amazingly talented actors of the No Refund Theatre.
This play contains disturbing topics that may be triggering for some viewers.
