Penn State Softball Set To Compete At 2026 Little League Girls With Game Experience

Little League Baseball and Softball has announced that Penn State softball will compete in the Girls with Game exhibition tournament at Little League Baseball’s home in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
The Nittany Lions will take on Army on October 17 at 4:30 p.m. The game is free and open to the public.
Virginia and Maryland’s softball teams will also be in attendance, facing off on the same day at 2 p.m. Bucknell and Mansfield are set to play on October 18.
“Bringing these four programs back to Williamsport gives our young athletes an opportunity to see firsthand where the game can take them while providing our community with a great weekend of softball, and even more exciting this year is being able to add a second day of action with Bucknell and Mansfield taking the field,” Little League Director of Softball Development Ashlea Miller said.
“The Girls with Game Experience is about creating access, building connections, and inspiring girls to continue playing the game they love. We encourage families, teams, and softball fans throughout the region to join us at Lamade Stadium and be part of the experience.”
Penn State competed in the event in 2025.
