Australian Acrobatic Group Gravity & Other Myths Set To Perform At Eisenhower Auditorium

Australian acrobatic troupe Gravity and Other Myths is set to perform its “Ten Thousand Hours” show at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, at the Eisenhower Auditorium.
Presented by Penn State’s Center for the Performing Arts, the show features eight acrobats and a musician exploring the practice, persistence, and teamwork behind mastering physical skills.
Live percussion will accompany the performers as they demonstrate how those skills develop through repetition. The production gives audiences a look at the work behind complex acrobatic movements, highlighting both the performers’ strength and the trust required to work together.
“The funny, amazing, next-level acrobatic event is a do-not-miss performance,” Amy Dupain Vashaw, the center’s assistant director of programming, said in a news release.
Tickets cost $14 for University Park students, $52 for adults, and $19 for attendees aged 18 and younger. Student ticket prices are supported by a grant from the University Park Fee Board.
Tickets are available through the Arts Ticket Center website, by phone at 814-863-0255, or in person at Eisenhower Auditorium.
Attendees can avoid a $4 fee by purchasing tickets by phone or at the auditorium’s ticket office, which is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
