Penn State-Themed Fantasy Football Punishments

Fantasy football season is heating up, but luckily, if you’re in last place in your fantasy league, it’s not too late to regroup and refocus.

However, if you choose not to take that advice, I hope your league isn’t like mine. Ruthless punishments for the year’s losers are the norm.

Loser punishments are a tradition like no other in fantasy football. Often a tiny act of public humiliation, a loser punishment motivates league members to stay active and work towards improving their team throughout the year.

We decided to compile Penn State-themed fantasy football punishments in case your league just can’t decide on one.

Wear A Hippie Costume To Pickles Country Night

Wrong vibe, folks.

Not exactly dressed for the right occasion. If you can make it past the bouncer, enjoy all the people inside who totally don’t notice you, right?

Guard The Nittany Lion Shrine

A Homecoming tradition since 1969. Now it’s your turn.

From sunset to sunrise, you must protect the Nittany Lion Shrine. That’s it. I recommend doing this any night except the night before the Homecoming football game, or you might have some company.

HUB Diet For The Week

You might want to add some LionCash for this one. From Monday through Friday, you can only eat at the HUB.

This means you must purchase and consume all food and drinks in the HUB. While this may sound inconvenient, the salad bar now has boneless wings on Mondays, so it could be a great opportunity.

Good luck finding a seat, though.

Free Advice

If you’re not familiar, two moms and a dog often give free hugs and advice outside Old Main.

Because your fantasy team stunk, you now have to join the trend and spread some positivity by sitting outside Old Main all day with a sign advertising your “free advice.”

Same idea, just no dog and no good advice.

Pie For THON

A classic THON fundraiser and a classic punishment.

Set up somewhere on campus and collect donations for THON in exchange for a plate of whipped cream to your face. The league champion gets one free pie. This punishment is FTK!

How Much Longer?

During finals week, you must ask every table in the Pattee Collaboration Commons some version of “Are you almost done using this table?”

Be respectful and move on after the eye rolls. Maybe add the study rooms if your league decides you’ve earned extra punishment.

Ohio State Hoodie To Class

Now, why would you read the description? Under no circumstances should you purchase or wear that.

If you fear one of these punishments is in your future, trade for a guy like Parker Washington or Tyler Warren. Maybe hold off on Drew Allar for now, though.
