Penn State Women’s Volleyball Drops To No. 16 In Latest AVCA Poll

Penn State women’s volleyball had dropped one spot to No. 16 in the latest AVCA Poll, the association announced Monday.

The Nittany Lions are coming off a West Coast road trip, going 1-1 against UCLA and USC.

The Nittany Lions fell to UCLA 3-2 Friday night despite Kennedy Martin’s 25 kills and Whitney Lauenstein’s 19 kills, which gave the Bruins problems all night.

Penn State bounced back and swept USC 3-0 on Saturday, led by Martin’s 10 kills.

The Nittany Lions will return to Rec Hall to face No. 10 Oregon at 7 p.m. Friday for the Dig Pink match. Folks at home can stream the match on Big Ten Plus.
