Transfer Portal Roundup: Week 7

Week 7 of the college football season has ended, and Penn State football is still sliding after a heartbreaking 21-18 loss to Michigan at the Big House on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions weren’t the only ones spiraling this week, as eight teams ranked in the AP Top 25 lost. The most controversial loss came from then-No. 2 Notre Dame at then-No. 8 BYU.

Despite all the losses this week, let’s look at how Penn State’s transfers performed in Week 7.

Ethan Grunkemeyer, Virginia Tech

Ethan Grunkemeyer completed 15 of 22 passes for 250 yards and no interceptions.

Grunkemeyer’s longest pass against Georgia Tech was 66 yards, and he also ran for 25 yards, helping the Hokies secure a 34-24 win.

Luke Reynolds, Virginia Tech

Luke Reynolds caught two passes for 18 yards but did not score. The former Penn State tight end’s longest receiving pass was 13 yards.

Keon Wylie, Virginia Tech

Keon Wylie, who leads the Hokies’ defense in tackles, recorded a season-high 10 tackles (six solo and four assisted), bringing his season total to 37.

Kenny Woseley Jr., Virginia Tech

The 5-foot-11 junior from Philadelphia recorded one assisted tackle in the Hokies’ 34-24 win against Georgia Tech.

Cortez Harris, Virginia Tech

Like Woseley, Cortez Harris recorded one assisted tackle. Harris has 16 total tackles this season, tying standout defensive lineman Kemari Copeland.

Randy Adirika, Virginia Tech

Randy Adirika recorded one sack on Saturday. He also forced a fumble on the Yellow Jackets’ offense, and the Hokies recovered it.

Mylachi Williams, Virginia Tech

Mylachi Williams had one assisted tackle and half a sack credited to him during Saturday’s victory.

Beau Pribula, Virginia

Beau Pribula completed 13-of-22 passes for 137 yards in Virginia’s 23-13 loss to No. 24 SMU on Saturday. He was sacked once and threw no interceptions.

Pribula’s longest pass was 30 yards, his fourth-longest of the season. He also ran for 25 yards, with 22 of those yards on one attempt.

Xavier Gilliam, Tennessee

Xavier Gilliam was big in the Volunteers’ 26-10 upset of No. 6 Alabama. The upset was historic, handing Alabama its first back-to-back regular-season losses since 2007.

Gilliam had one tackle, his season low, plus one fumble recovery and one pass deflection in the upset.

Amare Campbell, Tennessee

Amare Campbell was also crucial in the upset of No. 6 Alabama, recording eight tackles, four assisted and four unassisted.

This was his second-highest tackle total this season, behind his nine in the 24-14 win over Auburn earlier this season.

Dejuan Lane, Tennessee

Dejuan Lane proved to be a problem for the Crimson Tide offense, recording five total tackles (four solo, one assisted), one interception, one pass deflection, and one fumble recovery.

Kaden Saunders, Southern Miss

Kaden Saunders caught two passes for 21 yards in the Golden Eagles’ 23-13 loss to Arkansas State on Saturday. Southern Miss dropped to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the Sun Belt.

Aaron Enterline, Towson

Aaron Enterline worked well offensively for the Tigers, catching three passes for 22 yards.

His longest reception was only 8 yards as the Tigers fell to 0-8 for the season after a 24-20 loss to Campbell.

Anthony Ivey, San Jose State

Anthony Ivey was explosive for the Spartans’ offense in their dominant 24-11 win against UTEP on Saturday.

Ivey caught two passes for 50 yards, including a 43-yarder, 3 yards shy of his season and career high of 46 yards.

Mehki Flowers, Akron

Mehki Flowers recorded one solo tackle in the Zips’ 34-14 loss to Miami (Ohio). Flowers has 43 career tackles but only two this season.

AJ Harris, Indiana

AJ Harris had six tackles against Ohio State in one of the games of the week.

Despite his efforts, the Hoosiers couldn’t connect on the last play of the game, and Ohio State snapped Indiana’s 22-game win streak, 19-15.

Kolin Dinkins, Temple

Kolin Dinkins recorded three solo tackles in the Owls’ 38-31 loss to Charlotte. The Owls are now 2-5 and handed the 49ers their first win since September 13, 2025.
