No Refund Theater Presents: ‘Medea’

The No Refund Theater (NRT) is set for its third performance of the semester.
“Medea” is a dark play by Euripides, directed by NRT member Maria Jose Posada. The first showing will take place in the Hub Robeson Center, Flex Theater, on October 29 at 8 p.m. Two other show dates are October 30 and October 31, also in the Flex Theater at 8 p.m.
I had the joy of attending the play before its official debut, and I can say NRT’s production of “Medea” is one worth watching.

“Medea” takes place from ancient Greece to ancient Rome in the Middle Ages.
The foreign princess and sorceress Medea murdered her father to help Jason, her husband, win the Golden Fleece and the kingdom of Thessaly.
They are now in ancient Corinth, and Medea is informed that Jason is marrying the Corinthian princess.
Whatever shall she do?

NRT’s “Medea” is a dark, violent thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Set aside an evening to stop by the Flex Theater in the Hub Robeson Center for a show date and support the incredible actors of the No Refund Theater.
This play contains violence that may disturb some viewers.
