Penn State Football Wide Receiver Koby Howard Downgraded To Doubtful On Friday Availability Report

Penn State football standout wide receiver Koby Howard has been downgraded to doubtful for Saturday’s matchup against Purdue, per the Big Ten’s Friday availability report.

Matt Campbell said Wednesday Howard wouldn’t play if he wasn’t at 100%, and now all signs point to the star receiver missing his fifth game of the season.

Wide receiver Chase Sowell and tight end Brian Kortovich remain questionable, while defensive end Alexander McPherson was upgraded to probable on Thursday’s availability report.

Jeremiah Cooper, Yvan Kemajou, and Armstrong Nnodim are all also listed as probable against the Boilermakers.

Cornerbacks Joshua Johnson, Christian Askew, and Tyler Armstead, defensive ends Max Granville and Mason Robinson, linebacker Alex Tatsch, safety Omarion Davis, defensive tackles Alijah Carnell and Liam Andrews, offensive lineman Will Tompkins, tight end Cooper Alexander, and kicker Cristiano Rosa are all out.

It’s also worth noting Lavar Arrington II is completely off the injury report, signaling his return to the field.
