Penn State Football Names Team Captains Against Purdue

Penn State football named quarterback Rocco Becht, offensive lineman Anthony Donkoh, linebacker Kooper Ebel, and cornerback Audavion Collins team captains for its game against Purdue at Beaver Stadium, the team announced Saturday afternoon.

Becht will look to play a cleaner game this week, after his two interceptions and strip-sack proved costly in the Nittany Lions’ 21-18 loss to Michigan at the Big House. Collins has eight pass breakups and 15 total tackles this season, and continues to be an integral piece of this Penn State secondary.

Becht, Donkoh, and Ebel have served in the role for each of the team’s seven games this season. Collins received the honor for Penn State’s Week 4 loss to Wisconsin.
