Food TV Personality Jet Tila Returns To Happy Valley

Delicious food coming your way, folks!
Chef and TV personality Jet Tila is set to revisit Penn State November 3 to 5 to headline several on-campus events.
Tila first visited Penn State in 2025 for several events. He is an internationally celebrated culinary expert and is known for competing on “Iron Chef America” and hosting several Food Network shows.
Additionally, Tila is a three-time Emmy and James Beard award nominee, best-selling author, and the inaugural culinary ambassador of Thai cuisine appointed by the Royal Thai Consulate — the first-ever chef to represent his country’s culture and cuisine.
He brings his culinary lens nationwide.
Tila offers a dinner buffet takeover on Tuesday from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at Findlay Dining Commons. These entrees include Isaan-style waterfall beef, chicken pad see ew, and tofu pad see ew. Dinner is open to the public for $17.25.
Wednesday will showcase a “culinary throwdown” from 5 to 8 p.m. at Redifer Dining Commons, hosted by Tila. This showdown will feature Penn State chefs and will be followed by a book signing and photo opportunity.
On Thursday, Tila will host two cooking demos: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (pad thai) and 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. (Magnolian beef) at Pollock Dining Hall. Tickets are limited and registration is required.
