Penn State women’s volleyball has moved up two spots to No. 11 in the latest AVCA poll, the association announced Monday.

The Nittany Lions were ranked No. 13 last week. The rise follows an undefeated week in the midst of a five-game winning streak.

Penn State defeated Ohio State on October 29 in four sets, before beating then-No. 11 Purdue on October 31. Purdue fell to No. 14.

It marks the second week in a row that Penn State defeated a higher-ranked team, with the Nittany Lions beating then-No. 10 Oregon on October 23.

Penn State begins a road trip next weekend with games at No. 19 Minnesota on November 6 and No. 7 Wisconsin on November 8.
