Six Penn State Women’s Soccer Players Earn All-Big Ten Honors

Six Penn State women’s soccer players received All-Big Ten honors, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions finished the regular season No. 21 in the country with a 9-3-5 record. They ended the season undefeated at home with six wins and three draws.
Aubrey Kulpa led the conference awards for the Nittany Lions.
The forward earned First Team All-Big Ten honors after scoring 21 points in 17 games with eight goals and five assists.
Kulpa has continued to perform well on both ends of the field, consistently tracking back to aid an already stout Penn State defense. Head coach Erica Dambach complemented her aggressiveness and her desire to be the primary goal scorer throughout the season.
In the midfield, Paige Kalal earned second-team honors.
She scored six goals, six assists, and 18 total points this season. She also posted a 37.5% shot percentage on 31 shots, 13 of them on goal.
Kalal was prominent in Penn State’s win against Indiana on Friday, recording two assists and making other key plays that helped the Nittany Lions prevail 4-0.
Kayleigh Herr joined Kalal on the second team, but in the defensive end.
Herr has played in 17 games for the Nittany Lions this season, including her 70th collegiate start in a 1-0 shutout against Oregon earlier this season.
The defender transferred from North Carolina ahead of the 2025-25 season and has been a stalwart defender for the Nittany Lions ever since.
Lily Boyden was the only Nittany Lion to receive multiple honors, landing on both the Third Team All-Big Ten and Sportsmanship Award lists.
As a senior at Penn State, Boyden was key in helping the offense in the Nittany Lion’s tough 1-0 loss to Washington, where she was all over the field on both sides of the ball.
Boyden has one assist, one point, and five shots.
Ellie Kocher and Paige Pasinski also made the Big Ten All-Freshman Team after impressive seasons to open their college careers.
Kocher has two goals, one assist, and five points. She has made strides throughout the season, seemingly getting better every week.
Her most notable performance came in the 4-0 win against Indiana. She was all over the field, showing off an endless energy while pressing and tracking back.
Pasinski also made the Big Ten All-Freshman.
She has two goals and two assists for six points this season. Dambach has talked about Pasinski’s ability to step up when the Nittany Lions need it multiple times this season.
She ranked No. 47 in Top Drawer Soccer’s Freshman Top 100.
