Penn State Football Receiver Koby Howard Listed As Questionable On Big Ten Availability Report

More of the same for Penn State football wide receiver Koby Howard.
Howard has once again been listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against Washington, according to the Big Ten availability report. The wide receiver has been out since an injury he picked up against Buffalo in Week 3.
Matt Campbell said Wednesday that he has still been “very limited” in practice, and safety Jamison Patton became the first player to acknowledge that Howard had surgery earlier this season.
Fellow wideout Chase Sowell is listed as probable, along with offensive lineman Malachi Goodman and defensive tackle Armstrong Nnodim.
Sowell missed the win against Purdue but has been the Nittany Lions’ top receiver all season in Howard’s absence. Goodman would be a significant blow for Penn State, as the offensive line finally seemed to figure out run blocking in Saturday’s win.
Players who will miss the Nittany Lions’ first trip to the West Coast in 2026 are defensive lineman Max Granville and Alijah Carnell, linebacker Alex Tatsch, cornerback Tyler Armstead, and kicker Cristiano Rosa.
