Men’s Basketball Falls to Wolverines, 64-55

After completely dominating Michigan during the first half of play, Talor Battle and company fell flat in the second period, missing a critical opportunity to beat a preseason top 25 opponent.

The Nittany Lions held a lead of 15 at halftime, only to allow a 28-5 run afterward. WHY MUST YOU BREAK OUR HEARTS!?

Let’s Check In With Penn State Basketball, Shall We?

It's no secret that Penn State Men's Basketball is overshadowed by the football program - the latter draws enough people to make State College the state's third-largest city, while the former throws out every incentive it can just to sell student tickets. Football is the favorite son, basketball is the kid we tend to neglect.

Now that Bowl season is coming to a close, it's time to give that kid the attention he deserves - buy him an ice cream cone, ruffle his hair, and find out what he's into these days. We owe him at least that much.

The victory over No. 12 ranked LSU was certainly not the squad's best play of the season - a 13 point lead in the third quarter quickly turned into a one point deficit - but it was the its first win over a ranked opponent.

Big Ten Bowl Rundown

Ah, post-Christmas. For many of us, that means returning unwanted gifts, gorging on leftovers, and realizing that there isn't much going on at home. Thankfully, football is here to save us from any sort of holiday denouement.

Bowl Season kicked off last Saturday with the New Mexico Bowl, but it may have been hard to be emotionally invested in a bout between Fresno State and Wyoming. Fear not - for any Penn State fan has some investment in Big Ten games, which are just around the corner. Here's our guide to Big Ten bowl games.

Bowls Aren’t All About The Benjamins

Bowl Season – the magical time of year when we get extra football, graciously sprinkled around the traditional holidays of Winter. The schools must be happy too, after all, for their respective teams merely have to finish with a winning recordĀ  in order to get a lucrative bowl payout. The only problem is that in […]
