Keisha Hampton, DePaul End Penn State’s NCAA Tournament Run

It was a wild and entertaining game between the Penn State women's basketball team and DePaul on Monday night in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Both teams made big shots and both deserved to win the game. It just so happened that DePaul's Keisha Hampton was the last player to make a big shot with 4.9 seconds left to secure a 75-73 victory.

Men’s Volleyball Goes 2-2 Over Spring Break

The Penn State men's volleyball team was busy over spring break. After traveling to Massachusetts to take on Springfield, the Nittany Lions flew to California for three more games last week. Despite losing twice in California, Penn State's six-game road trip has been a success. The Nittany Lions won all three of their conference games and upset UC Santa Barbara during this stretch, moving the team to 15-5 on the season.

It was a certainty that the Penn State women’s basketball team would make the NCAA Tournament. On Monday, the Lady Lions learned that they would face Dayton on Saturday at 11:10 a.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center. Penn State earned the six-seed in the Philadelphia region. Dayton is the 11-seed.
