Captain applications are now being accepted on THON's website and close Friday at 5 p.m. Applications need to be turned in online and in-person at 210 HUB.

An Irish sports official said that the NCAA "rightly" punished Penn State in the wake of the Sandusky Scandal. Mark Wogenrich of the Morning Call also reported that Peter McKenna, director of Croke Park, the site of Penn State's game in Ireland later this month, also told the Irish Times that the scandal brought hesitation about bringing Penn State, and that it was "something that we thought long and hard about".
