The days of FTCAP (First-Year Testing, Consulting, and Advising Program) are over. Penn State will be moving to a two-day, overnight program titled NSO (New Student Orientation) beginning this summer.
The Penn State Women's Soccer team landed in San Diego early Wednesday morning. They hope to bring back the program's first ever NCAA Championship.
It's been a wild year for Jerry Sandusky's main attorney, Joe Amendola, but one national magazine doesn't believe he was all that shrewd. Amendola was named to GQ's recently released 'Least Influential People of 2012' list. He made the cut along with 24 others, including Michelle Obama, Mitt Romney, and Hulk Hogan.
The accolades just keep on coming for Penn State football. A day after six Nittany Lions were rewarded with 1st Team All-Big Ten honors, Defensive End Deion Barnes was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
The dominance continues for Penn State Women's Volleyball. Yesterday, Russ Rose's team was named the #1 overall seed of this year's NCAA tournament. The Nittany Lions (29-2), who've won the National Championship four of the five years, have been placed in the West Lafayette regional and open up against Binghamton (13-17) on 7:30 p.m. this Friday in Rec Hall.
Last night, only a few weeks after being named 2013 Homecoming Executive Director, Bobby Walter tabbed 16 students to his Executive Committee.
