In the midst of the insanity that was last week, a rumor came to our attention that Johnson & Johnson had decided to no longer donate to THON. After the national media's often poor coverage of all that was happening in State College, which led to the misconstrued opinions of those outside the Penn State community, this rumor, unfortunately, seemed quite plausible. However, Donor & Alumni Relations Overall Anuj Upadhyay has assured us that this is incorrect.
Back on track, this week's Overall Series is all about Rules & Regulations, and their FeaR&Rless leader, Mairead Hanna. Hoping to bring some change to the committee, Hanna opens about her plans to make the Bryce Jordan Center, and all of THON the safest it can possibly be. And while this picture may lead you to believe otherwise, she does have hands. And yes, she loves dinosaurs. Let's rock and rule!
Four Diamonds Families made the trek to State College this afternoon, joining the THON Overalls, Captains, and Committee Members in the White Building for this year's Family Carnival, “Medieval Miracles: THON in Shining Armor," and the revealing of the 2012 THON Logo.
It is difficult for me to put into words how I feel at this moment.
