Collegian’s News Adviser Bids PSU Farewell

Grab your box of tissues, the time has come to say goodbye.

It is always tough to watch someone leave Penn State, especially after that someone has been here for 12 years. And no, we're not talking Van Wilder style (although he may be close popularity-wise).

Biden Rally Causes Changes in Traffic

Set your alarms even earlier than usual if you want to get to class on time Tuesday, Sept. 28.

Due to Vice President Joe Biden's visit to Penn State for the "Moving America Forward" rally, certain traffic restrictions will be in place on Pollock Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Had they opened the door, however, they would have discovered the source of the dance-worthy beats was none other than a PBS documentary on Latin music sensations who had transitioned to the United States' popular music scene.

Seniors Brainstorm Ideas for Class Gift

Seniors, student leaders and special guests all gathered in the Beaver Stadium Recruitment Center Tuesday night to discuss the 2011 Senior Class Gift.

Overall Chairperson Ben Witt opened the night by explaining that the Senior Class Gift is an opportunity passed down to each class through tradition. He encouraged seniors to keep submitting ideas until the Sept. 17th deadline, no matter how good or bad they may be.
