The new bar and restaurant is set to open in downtown State College on Thursday, August 19.

Borough Manager Tom Fountaine said Hotel State College owners made the request because of “substantial staffing challenges” at another of their properties, The Corner Room, located next door to Pickle’s.
Special guests Micah Shrewsberry, Carolyn Kieger, Brandon Short, and Ron Filippelli will be in attendance at the free event.
