
This week's competition is between the two most well-known outdoor patio bars in State College: Cafe 210 West and Mad Mex. Let's be honest, when it's 75 degrees and sunny outside, there are few things better than (legally) drinking outside. The two downtown establishments with the largest outdoor seating areas are Cafe 210 West and Mad Mex. Both of these places have large patios which are perfect for soaking in the sun and downing a few choice beverages. Let the battle begin.

Today marks day 37 of the 55 days competition at Café 210 West. Over 700 students set out to conquer the '55 days' this year but after five weeks - that number has dropped significantly. Check out more after the jump!

From Bob Dylan vinyl to used Tom Clancy novels to steamed soy milk--it was apparent this weekend that Webster's Bookstore & Cafe has rebounded from the financial woes that closed its previous location. Webster's is back at it, serving the coffee sippin', beret wearin' counter culture of State College once again, and it feels like they never left.

Everyday we wake up, put on our shoes, and walk. We walk to class, we walk to work, or we walk to meet with friends. Everyday, we mindlessly walk to a destination determined by our schedules. But this Sunday, some students will walk for a purpose.
