
State College Chief of Police Tom King's career was always about helping the victims. With 35 years serving the Penn State community under his belt, he's retiring August 31.

"There may be three that are collectively faster, there may be three that are more notable, or more highly recruited," Pry said, "but I'll tell ya, I'd go to battle against anyone in the country with those three linebackers."

Maya Hayes went from Penn State star to local hero with her professional team, Sky Blue FC. Now in her third season, she's coming into a veteran role within the fledgling league.

Penn State's starting trio of linebackers -- Jason Cabinda, Brandon Bell, and Nyeem Wartman-White -- will log a heavy workload in 2016, but young depth at the position and a strong secondary should help take some of the pressure off.
