More than 1,150 faculty members and more than 1,500 students, parents, and community members signed an open letter demanding Penn State take stronger action against COVID-19.

Currently, all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask inside public campus buildings.

Should transmission levels lower across the state, Penn State's mask-wearing policy could be rescinded.

In a gist, vaccines aren't mandatory, COVID-19 testing is ramping up, and mask policies aren't changing...yet.

Penn State confirmed Tuesday it still won't require COVID-19 vaccinations for students and employees this fall.

The renewed calls for vaccine requirements come as the more transmissible delta variant spreads across the country.
