Although he's not a Penn State alumnus himself, Clifford clearly recognizes the importance of the Skeller and all that it stands for in the hearts of Penn State alumni for the past 84 years. By our estimates using Penn State's historical enrollment numbers, more than 500,000 Penn Staters have had the opportunity to drink a beer at the Skeller during their time as students.
Onward State alumnus Dave Cole created the petition to #SaveTheSkeller that's already garnered nearly 300 signatures.

"We want to assure you that as State College residents and Penn Staters we fully understand the historic importance of that location and memories made there across decades."
