Penn State basketball returns to The Palestra in January to take on Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans.
The Board of Trustees met for their bimonthly meeting in Wilkes-Barre this afternoon where it elected a new Chairman and voted to raise tuition.
Ira Lubert was elected as the new Chairman for the Board of Trustees in the Board's annual election and bimonthly meeting held this afternoon.
Proposals from students, staff, faculty, and alumni can be submitted until September 16.
"Other schools are contacting [Penn State targets] and telling them the NCAA is going to get involved and impose more sanctions...To insinuate that NCAA enforcement is looking at us and considering additional sanctions is preposterous," Barbour said.
